Rhodesian Tapestry


On the following pages you will see the reproduction of a book which was published in 1971. The book shows pictures of the magnificent tapestries embroidered by the Women's Institutes of Rhodesia to depict the history of our country, and the words describe the events that shaped her..

Much has changed since 1971. The panels are no longer in the Dining Room of the House of Parliament, but housed for safety at the National Museum in Bulawayo.
